This project showcased the process when I experimented with origami techniques and attempts to apply them to different materials. This experiment initiated from my thesis project when I was dug into origami world but afraid of deviation from the project. Thus, I paused the development and made these two lamps as a result from the exploration. Wheat straw and layered shaved woods were woven on the wood frame which defuse the light and characterise the space as a light shade. The results provide a gentle illumination and light up the space with intriguing shadows from the properties of thin material
